About the authors:

Prof. Deb Narayan Bandyopadhyay is Vice- Chancellor of Bankura University and a Professor (on lien) in the Dept of English, Burdwan University, India. He is also the Secretary of the Indian Association for the Study of Australia (Eastern Region). He was awarded fellowships by the Australia-India Council in 2005 and 2006, and was a Distinguished Visiting Scholar at Monash University in 2007. Following this, he became an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at Monash University (School of Journalism, Australian and Indigenous Studies) and a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of New South Wales (School of History and Philosophy).

Dr Jayanta Kumar Saha is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Law, The University of Burdwan, West Bengal, India. He was awarded a Senior Fellowship by the Australia-India Council in 2011 for his distinguished research work. He is also a Visiting Research Fellow of the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.

Dr. Sarbojit Biswas is presently associated with Barjora College, The University of Burdwan, West Bengal, India as an Assistant Prof. in English. He is also Visiting Research Fellow at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia and a Guest Faculty at The Department of English, The University of Burdwan, Burdwan, West Bengal, India.
