Annual Public Health and Primary Care Symposium

Dr. Tony Jewell, Chief Medical Officer for Wales will introduced the second annual symposium on public health and primary care on the 26th October 2011 as part of the autumn visit of Dr Phillip Baker, Adjunct Professor, Queensland University of Technology, Director of Epidemiology, Queensland Health, Australia and editor and
contributing author for the Cochrane Public Health Group. The theme of the symposium focused on evidence-based public health and primary care practice and policy.

The symposium brought together key primary care and public health professionals, practitioners, policy makers and academics to exchange experience and expertise and explore ideas for future research and development.
